  The host and hostess Peter and Sandy are an absolute delight. They go out of their way to make your stay one to be remembered. Sandy is an amazing cook who's passion for food really comes out in the dishes she prepares for dinner.

  The Retreat at Froog Moore Park must be one of the best bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed at! As soon as you walk in you know this place is different, but very special (I wont ruin the surprise!). The room are quirky, clean and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing weekend or to stay for business.

  Although, the most amazing thing about this place is the food! Sandy's cooking is a mix of all of the cooking adventures Sandy and Peter have had around the world and packed with amazing flavour. It is the best food I have ever had in Tamworth and rivals that of the best restaurants in the Hunter Valley, Sydney and Melbourne.

  Often being away from home you don't tend to settle well and sleep can be elusive but not at Froog-Moore. The beds are to die for, never have I slept so well as I did at the retreat.

  Setting off early each morning, travelling over 400kms each day and returning early in the evening. It was a pleasure to have a place that I knew was warm, comfortable and safe and be able to kick back, relax and unwind over a beautiful meal (with produce sourced from their garden)and a lovely glass of red.

  Fantastic array of rooms where a lot of thought and effort has been input. Options for food were great and the owners very friendly and helpful. I stayed in The Succulent room (I think) and it came with its own library and dining room!

  Thus is our 3rd return to FMP. What a unique accommodation option. Very well priced for the magical themed rooms on offer... our favourite being the Moroccan Fantasy with its claw foot tub but for the serenity lovers there is the Japanese themed room, for the adventurous the African themed Henderson and for the really adventurous the dungeon with its unique towel hoops placed strategically on the walls (thats our story and we are sticking with it!) And the food! Cooked with love by Sandy who really should be on Master Chef. And Peter is the perfect and gracious host. Look for the details and ask questions about the decor... he has done most of it himself. A MUST see and not to be missed!
